Denzel Washington says he wants fans to see him on the big screen — not on social media. Promoting his new film, “Highest to Lowest,” the Oscar-winning actor made it clear he doesn’t use Instagram.
“All those so-called Instagram accounts, if my name’s connected to it, you’ve been had, you’ve been took, hoodwinked, bamboozled,” Washington said. “I don’t have an Instagram account. I think we’d all be better off without those addictives in our lives.”
“Highest to Lowest” opens in select theaters today, August 15, and debuts on Apple TV+ September 5.
Also making headlines in Hollywood — the official trailer for “Dead of Winter” has been released. Emma Thompson stars as a grieving loner who travels to northern Minnesota, where she discovers a young girl being held captive by a dangerous couple. Isolated and far from help, the two must fight to survive.
